BBC Radio 1 speaks Spanish, again. A couple of weeks ago, on the first weekend of August, the British public station celebrated the 20th anniversary of their yearly special programming from Ibiza.
The lineup for BBC Radio 1 Ibiza 20 was as impressive as usual: Pete Tong (who convinced BBC to start this amazing habit 20 years ago), Annie Mac, Calvin Harris (with his only show in Ibiza this year), Disclosure, Carl Cox, Faithless, Rudimental, Redlight and many more that you can check out on the site of BBC Radio 1 Ibiza 20.
I would like to thank Matt Fisher, Station Sound Manager at BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, who asked me to do the voice-over in Spanish and English with a Spanish accent for the special imaging of the station for the occasion. And it’s already the fourth year! It’s always a pleasure having the opportunity to work with Matt and his team, and my privilege to know that my voice is being used (intensively) by one of the most listened to radio stations in UK.
Just one suggestion, Matt: what if we have the Spanish voice-over guy live from Ibiza next year? 😉
Below you can find some samples of the amazing job Mark and the guys at Radio 1 have done. Congratulations, and many thanks again!
Please visit my site about voice-over in European Spanish (Castilian) or English with a Spanish accent if you would like to hear more and feel free to send me an email if you are interested in my services as voice-over.
